Dragon Festival, all 3 of them. I think one of the last wintersdays allowed hats to be made from the Hat Maker after the hats were given out too.

Well on that we will disagree, as I think you are given an event that anet certainly dont have to do, a special event with extra drops to improve peoples enjoyment of their product, but yet it is not enough for you and you want everything laid out for you exactly when you want it. The only thing thats makes me "determined" is QQers who are and will never be satified until its all about THEM.

I'm mostly pissed because I'm pretty much totally busy from now until the event supposedly ends. Unless I can get a week's worth of homework finished in my ~6 hour morning tomorrow, I'll be missing out.

As i said before this isnt about me its about the people who missed the one day they handed out hats.

no i how i knew the tread was updated was by clicking on the user cp. which told me people had responded. so i decided to take a look see and see if anything anything interesting was brought up. and if you cant understand me that's not my problem but your own.

Uhhh, since the Hat Maker went away? They are still around. And since the "new style of festivals"... Canthan New Year and Dragon Festival are the "new" festivals. Halloween is the oldest event. Wintersday being the second oldest.

I personally think that hats should be available for those who cannot make the finale. But I always make the finales (so far), so until we talk about getting hats from past events, I'll stay at "prefer, but whatever."

There, does that help? You quoted MY post, then responded to it. you didnt quote "2 or 3 others" just MINE as I was the only person to mention "other events" and answered just mine. The fact is, this event as quite clearly stated well in advance had a finale on the 31st where hats were given out. If you didnt attend "for whatever reason" you didnt get the hat. Its called making the smallest of effort to partake in the festival.

YOU had a choice, you didnt want to waste electricity then that was YOUR choice - lots of others took an alternative approach and got their hats and bags, they had a choice too.
When you have a choice, then you can't come back and whine about the result of your choice - seriously, grow up.

First of i never Disputed that it was on the web site. that was never my point my point as i have said quite a few time is : Events should Alow you to get the hats on more then just one day so everyone can have the chance to get the hat if they go away for that holiday. You are the one using personal attacks and the person who needs to "grow up"

On topic: Halloween has always offered hats on just one day. This does not mean that the event is not ever changing as they do bring in other features (like it lasting an extra week or costume brawl being added). If you want a hat maker for halloween to stick around, gogo suggestions forum. Again, suggestions forum. It's where you make suggestions.

The problem that occurred during this event: three hours were lost due to server patching. An additional day was lost due to a bug with a DST update. The content that was missed during this time was ONLY the festival drops, the collectors, and the costume brawls.

The solution: Anet came out, said they would see what they could do about it, responded quickly and are giving us over three additional days of the content that was lost.

Analogy: My internet service stops working. I call the provider, they apologize, tell me an error occurred and I am without internet for a day. They then get back to me and give me four days free for the loss of my one day.

Somehow I managed to miss an online sweepstakes two days before the internet went out. It is not my isp's fault I missed the sweepstakes, as such there is no reason they should give into my demand that they find a way to get me an entry into that limited sweepstakes when missing it was my fault to begin with.
